Notes

In 1915, 16-year-old Midge is at school in England. Her brothers are in the army and her twin is listed as missing at Gallipoli. Midge and her friends start a canteen in France catering for wounded soldiers, then Midge joins the ambulance service and heads into unknown horrors.
