Ruba lives in a village outside Beirut. She can hear the rumble of the shelling as the 1980s civil war tears Lebanon apart. Her father hardly ever speaks. Ruba uncovers his secret, but as Israeli troops invade and danger comes even closer, she may not be to keep her family safe.
