Ted and Kat watch their cousin Salim get on board the London eye. When his pod comes back down to the ground, he's not in it. Everyone's baffled, even the police. Ted and his older sister Kat overcome their prickly relationship to become sleuths, desperately trying to find Salim.

Award: author won the 2007 NASEN & TES Special Educational Needs Children's Book Award with this novel. Her first novel, "A swift pure cry", won the Banford Boase Award and the Eilis Dillon Award and was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and the Booktrust Teenage Prize.

22/11/2024This book was an interesting book. It was about a young boy mysteriously disappearing from a sealed pod on the London Eye. Everyone is frantic and no-one knows what has happened. In the end they followed a trail of clues across London in a desperate bid to find him while time ticks dangerously by......

This book is full of excitement. It kept me on the edge the whole time i was reading it. I really enjoyed it because it is a mystery on where he has gone. Kendal Sim
