Notes
Summary: Over seven days we follow the lives of seven characters: a hedge fund manager; a professional footballer from Poland; a young lawyer; a student who has been led astray by Islamist theory; a book-reviewer; a schoolboy hooked on skunk and reality TV; a Tube train driver whose Circle Line train joins these lives together. A satire on modern urban life, this novel deals with the themes of greed, the dehumanising effects of the electronic age and the fragmentation of society, as the characters are forced to confront the true nature of the world they inhabit
